Dr. Zajdlik receives Ontario's highest official honour
The Order of Ontario is the most prestigious official honour in Ontario. Instituted in 1986 by Lieutenant Governor Lincoln Alexander, the civilian order is administered by the Governor-in-Council, and is intended to recognize those who have made exceptional contributions to society in any field.
On Thursday, January 28 at Queen's Park, Dr. Anne-Marie Zajdlik received Ontario’s highest official honour.
Long known locally for her efforts to treat and champion HIV/AIDS patients in the Guelph area and in Africa, Dr. Zajdlik is among 29 Ontarians to receive the Order of Ontario. We would like to congratulate her on this exceptional achievement.
