Bracelet of Hope

Track Your Sales

The concept of tracking your Bracelet of Hope sales sounds simple enough – one bracelet out for every five dollars in. But when a number of volunteers are working together at a busy event, the administrative task of tracking sales can easily be forgotten about. So here are a few tips to follow to ensure your sales records are maintained and not an afterthought.

  1. Assign two organized members of your volunteer team the task of tracking sales. It will be their responsibility to count bracelets before, during and after each event along with the dollars raised to make sure there are no discrepancies. A discrepancy occurs for example when ten bracelets have been sold and only $45 has been collected, this is a discrepancy of $5 since $50 should have been collected. If there is a discrepancy in your balance it becomes the team’s task to correct this.
  2. Keep a tracking log updated throughout your event or campaign. Each time the bracelets and dollars raised are counted – update the log.
  3. After each count, measure the increase in bracelet sales and set attainable goals for your next event based on the success of your last.
