Take Lots of Pictures

At your event, a volunteer should be designated to take lots of great shots. It’s important to set your camera to the highest resolution quality as possible, especially if you’re going to supply these to the print media. Local media love shots of residents participating in local events for a good cause. Remember to get the names of the people in your photos, as the media may need these for the photo captions. Select the best photos and type out the captions to keep on file for media requests.
