Wine tasting at LCBO for Bracelet of Hope
Orest Poluch and the LCBO store located at 615 Scottsdale Drive in Guelph will be hosting the 3rd Annual Ontario Riesling Challenge in benefit of the Bracelet of Hope Campaign. The event is to be held on Saturday May 30th from 11:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
Guests who come at any point throughout that time period can give a $10 donation which includes a Bracelet of Hope and tickets for four samples of the many Ontario Riesling wines that will be showcased that day. Several local restaurants will be there throughout the afternoon providing samples of their foods to go with the wine. And 10 Ontario wineries will take part as well, offering up some of their fine Riesling wines.
Dr. Anne-Marie Zajdlik, founding director of the campaign, will be stopping in for an hour that afternoon to take part as well.
Last year as a result of Orest’s enthusiasm and hard work, and the participation of the wineries and local restaurants, the event raised $1,000. Orest hopes to surpass that number this year!
