Our Mission:

Bracelet of Hope is a grassroots organisation that engages Canadians in the fight against HIV/AIDS in Africa.

Our Vision:

A bracelet on the wrist of every Canadian and one African country AIDS-free.

Our Values:

Grassroots: We value the potential and ability that every individual has to change the world. We believe that the relationships that bring people together in community – whether local or across borders – are fundamental to creating a better world.

Collaboration: Fighting AIDS requires the skills, knowledge, experience and creativity of many different actors. We believe that collaboration at all levels is essential to fighting AIDS and that collaboration must respect local ownership of decision making.

Justice: We fight AIDS because we believe that all people have the right to good health. As an organisation we respect all people and promote human rights for all.

Compassion: We strive to understand and feel for those who suffer and act in ways that prevent and alleviate that suffering.
